The quarterback’s essential holdout has sparked a lot of criticism, and on Thursday, ESPN staples rang out and pleaded at a school near his home.
“UCLA-Don’t do that, don’t take him. I said it on Thursday’s show.
“At some point, we have to talk about these kids. He had a $2.4 million salary. He wants to almost double his salary despite not winning the playoff game. He wants to go out with the team on the first day of spring training. He’s about the team.
The 20-year-old reportedly planned to make $2.2 million in Tennessee for the 2025-26 season through the school’s Nil Collective and Spyre Sports Group.

Iamaleava reportedly entered the transfer portal on Wednesday with the tag “Don’t contact them.” Oregon is a program that has been linked to Iamaleava since reports began to surface about his situation in Tennessee.
