Former NFL star and current analyst Steve Smith Sr. faces legal battle after accusing the man of five pro bowlers on social media of having a relationship with his wife. Baltimore Ravens Marching band from that time.
The lawsuit, filed Tuesday in Mecklenburg County Superior Court, seeks more than $100,000 in damages under an obscure state law known as the “Abnorance of Love” Act. Charlotte Observer It was first reported on Thursday.

The scandal involving Smith first began in February when an X-account named Antonio Martinez posted a series of messages and screenshots directed at the former NFL Pro.
One of the posts read “Track me. Does your wife know you are my wife?”
The account then shared some screenshots of what appears to be sexually explicit text messages between Martinez’s wife and Smith. Some of the posts also included images of Smith, allegedly sent to women. The account also posted a video of suspected conversation between Martinez and Smith. At that time, the man appeared to confront Smith about a suspicious incident.

Social media users claim that the former run star has an affair with his wife.
“Are you my wife, mate?” I could hear the man in the video asking. “What do you have to say for yourself?”
“Sorry,” the others answered before finally hanging up.
The woman allegedly met Smith as a member of the Ravens Marching Band, according to a lawsuit obtained by the Charlotte Observer. Smith spent most of his 16 years of career Carolina Panthers Before playing three seasons with the Ravens.
Smith is a Ravens marching band whose pair allegedly exchanged contact information, and reportedly filmed an episode of “The Most Interesting Work With Steve Smith of the NFL” in September.

The allegations of the case lasted several months, followed by the last two meetings at a Baltimore hotel in January, according to the civil lawsuit. Smith reportedly was in town for the Ravens’ playoff game against the Buffalo Bills.
A request for comment has been sent to Smith’s former agent.
