Las Vegas Raiders Draftpic’s Ashton Jeanti was also one of those affected by the prank epidemic that hit the NFL prospects.
The Heisman Trophy finalist revealed in a recent podcast interview that his call came after he was already selected. He said the prankster said he said he was traded Dallas Cowboys.

“Some guys said, ‘Yeah… we just made a deal with the Raiders and you’re coming to the Cowboys,” he said. “Stacking boxes” Podcast. “I just hung up, buddy. I was like, ‘Come on, buddy.’ ”
Before the draft, Jeanty said it was a dream to play for the Cowboys after growing up in Frisco, Texas, before working for the Cowboys.

“I want to play for the Cowboys,” he said. NBC Dallas Fort Worth I’ll be back in January. “It’s going to be like a dream come true. Obviously, I was playing in their practice stadium, so even in the freshman year who came here for all of our high school home games, the Frisco Bowl, we practiced there again.
“So, honestly, I’m going to feel like I’m home. I’m not going to say much, but Dallas, they’ve always had a good run.
The Raiders were the next best option.
Jeanty was far from the only player to play pranks. The most infamous call was placed on Chedur Sanders when he slipped into the fifth round. It has been revealed that the perpetrator is the son of Atlanta Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbric.
