Before the Tennessee Titan officially chose Camward, NFL Draft On Thursday night, the Black National Anthem took place on the Green Bay stage.
The James Weldon Johnson Foundation’s National Hymn Choir sings “Lift and Sing with All Voices.” NFL Fans waiting for the draft to begin took it all in before NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and Green Bay Packers great Lil Wayne came on stage.

The Black National Anthem has been a flagship role in the NFL event since the 2020 season. Songs were played at the Super Bowl and draft events after summer racial tensions across the United States.

Ward was the No. 1 pick in the draft after a solid performance with the Miami Hurricanes in his final college season. The Jacksonville Jaguars then traded for the Cleveland Browns and chose Travis Hunter.
