Cleveland Browns Quarterback Joe Flaco could be the first week starter when the 2025 season begins if Desshaun Watson doesn’t go back in time for him to take the field.
It took a while for the NFL Draft to begin, and Flacco appeared “Fox & Friends” He was then asked if he was disappointed or if he was hoping Cleveland would take a quarterback in the draft.

“I’m hoping. I think everyone expects them to take the quarterback. That’s just part of the game,” Flacco said. “Every team is trying to get that next guy and make their team as good as possible for the future. That’s part of it.”
Come WardShedeur Sanders and Jaxson Dart are the most talked about quarterbacks in the draft pool that appear in the event. Flacco did not specify what the Browns thought they would take it.
Ward is everything except the lock to go to the Tennessee Titans, which has the first pick. The Browns have a second selection and could be Chedure Sanders. Fox News Digital Mock Draft predicted that Browns would win Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter.

Flacco admitted that he doesn’t look exactly at any of the tapes of the newcomers.
“I don’t have much of a chance to see these guys. A guy, 40, with a young kid, isn’t sitting on the couch as he’s watching college football on Saturdays,” he said. “I know a lot about seeing these guys. For some reason, you don’t know at all whether you’re going to hit or not. But these guys did a lot of work to get where they are.
Flacco was the No. 18 pick in the 2008 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens.
He led the Ravens to the Super Bowl in 2012. After the time with the Ravens was over, I played for the Denver Broncos, New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts. He is in his second stint with the Browns.
