“I’ll stop while driving,” Watson replied. “My biggest thing is going on, going where I need to get. There’s a shop and a lot of seduction. It’s been very helpful. I don’t go into the gas station. I’ll pay with the pump.
Watson turned his head in 2021 as he walked to the Gainesville campus for 385 pounds. Four years later, he is about 80 pounds heavier than the heaviest player in the current NFL. Baltimore Ravens Lineman Daniel Farele was listed at 380 pounds last season.
Weight loss was something that grew up in the Gators program, but Watson has been gaining it ever since he stepped onto campus.

“It was like my same problem — it’s not an issue, but the same concerns across the university,” he said. “I’m more detailed and I understand better what it takes to succeed at the next level. It was interesting. I learned a lot about myself during this process.”
Watson said people in his life taught him to treat his eating habits like “another addiction.”

And he knows how serious it can be.
“It’s not drugs, but whether it’s a game, drugs, alcohol or not, it’s addictive. I think this is my bad guy. I’m trying to get it. This can do the same thing, so that the drug can kill you. I’m trying to change my life.”
Watson’s weight may be the source of concern for the NFL team, but the possibility certainly lies there Gators A defensive tackle benched 36 times at 225 pounds. If Watson had been invited, it would have been the maximum total for the NFL Scouting Combine rep.

Instead, he showed off his strength and other skills to the NFL team at Pro Day in Florida.
If he is drafted, Watson is expected to go to the later rounds of Green Bay.
