Now, as Americans prepare to travel across the country for the Christmas and holiday season, a new study finds ranked airports As more stressful than anything else.
The study, conducted by Australian travel insurance company iSelect, analyzed 50 major airports around the world, looking at average departure delays, canceled flights, security screening and baggage claim issues.

The airport received a score of 22.39 on the “Most Stressful” index.
Manchester Airport in the UK came in third place with a score of 23.10.

Its baggage claim ranked last in the index at 69%. The waiting time for security check was 69%.

The study looked at ease of travel, airport reliability, terminal facilities, airport staff, Food and retail optionsplus the experience of arriving and departing at the airport.
Newark ranked last, reflecting a year of ground delays and flight cancellations.
