Michael Jordan I’ll be back to basketball next season.
6-time NBA champions and Chicago Bulls Legend will become a “special contributor” to NBC’s league coverage as the network is set to air the game later this year.

The presentation was made during an early presentation in NBC’s New York.
“I’m very excited to see the NBA return on NBC,” he said in a news release. “The NBA at NBC is a meaningful part of my career and I am excited to be a special contributor to the project. I look forward to seeing you all when the NBA starts this October.”
Jordan has been away from the game for nearly two years since selling its Charlotte Hornets stake in August 2023 for over $3 billion. He is focusing on the pursuit of the 23xi race and the NASCAR Championship.

He can once again become a member of the game as a contributor.
“Michael’s legacy speaks for itself, both on and off the court,” said Rick Koldella, president of NBC Sports. “We are extremely proud to have him participate in our coverage.”
Jordan is considered the greatest NBA player of all time. He was undefeated during the NBA Finals run, won five NBA MVP awards and was a 14-time All-Star. Before he played most of his career with the Bulls Washington Wizard.

Comcast secured an 11-year media rights agreement for the NBA game last July. ESPN/ABC and Amazon also have NBA games. NBC streams them with the Peacock.
