Howard Stern made it clear: if he isn’t sitting in the front row of Madison Square Garden New York Knicksthen he doesn’t go at all.
Stern, 71, is not known to be the biggest sports fan, but supports the Knicks, who holds a 3-2 series lead with the defending champion Boston Celtics In the semi-finals of the Eastern Conference.
But despite the team’s playoff success, Stern is not part of the noisy Madison Square Garden crowd unless he wins a front row seat.

“You can tell your location in show business where they place you in the Knicks game. The day they put me in the second row, I’ll quit.”Howard Stern Shaw. ”
“I know very much where they’re sitting me. That’s very important to me. If they told me, “Look, you’re not in the first line, you turn around and leave. That would be embarrassing to me.”
Stern is interested in going to the upcoming Knicks playoff games, but will only participate if his requirements are met.

“I’m very interested, but I’m not going. I’m very self-aware. I’m waiting for them to invite me,” Stern said.
“I don’t want to use it and everyone knows it’s coming out of woodworking. Final. I don’t want to be that guy. When the Knicks last died, I like and then no one wants to go, so I’m not guilty. ”
He wants to go to the game, but if invited, the longtime host has less faith in the Knicks knocking on the Celtics and moving on.

“I still feel the Knicks are going to play it. I’ll get an Agita with that team,” Stern said.
The Celtics won Game 5 at TD Garden at Boston 127-105. Despite the absence of star player Jason Tatum due to Achilles’ injury, who suffered at the end of Game 4.
The Knicks have another chance to clinch the series at 8pm on Friday, when the series returns to Madison Square Garden. The team has not played the final of the conference since 2000.
