The only other people who have deliberately walked four times in the game since at least 1955 were Roger Maris, Garry Templeton, Manny Ramirez and Andre Dawson, who had five intentional walks in May 1990.
Wood went 2-2 on the stolen base. The people were defeated angle7-4, 11 innings.

Wood has been one of the better players for the Nationals since joining the league in 2024. He scored 31 home runs and 105 RBIs with an .274 batting average and .863 OPS, following his 162-game average. His numbers are Juan Soto Bryce Harper.
“These are some of the best people to wear jerseys,” he said Saturday. Via ESPN. “I’m definitely trying to be that kind of person. They’re doing it – Juan Soto has been Blythe Harper for over seven years and over 12 years – I know I have a long way to go, but it’s definitely cool.”
More importantly, Wood helps bring Washington back to his victory column.
Despite the victory over the Angels, the Nationals only improved to 35-49. Washington has not won more than 80 games since 2019. That same year, Washington won that year’s World Series.
