Wings struggled to own a 1-11 record this year, and Smith hasn’t gotten along with her new team. She averaged 6.7 points and 4.9 rebounds, with both careers exceeding 18 games.

Meanwhile, Smith was Fever’s second-place overall pick in 2022, creating the WNBA All-Rookie First Team after averaging 13.5 points and 7.9 rebounds in 30.7 minutes per game. She finished third in the WNBA Rookie of the Year poll.
For the first time in her career, Smith will take less than 20 minutes to Dallas, but perhaps that will change in Las Vegas.
