Over 30,000 Wireless Power Bank For sale across the US and Canada, it is recalled reports that batteries blew on fire and exploded, causing thousands of dollars in property damage.
Recall of ESR Halolock Power Banks According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), it will affect products with model numbers 2G520, 2G505B and 2G512B. The item had five circular LED display lights on one side, sold in dark blue, light blue, grey, white and black.
This product was available for purchase from September 2023 to July 2025 on Amazon, Home Depot and the ESR Tech websites. At least 24,000 people were sold in the US, and nearly 10,000 people were sold in Canada.

ESR received nine reports that the battery caught a fire and an explosion, resulting in about $20,000 in property damage.
“Recalled Power Bank lithium-ion batteries can overheat and ignite, causing consumers to fire and burn danger,” the CPSC announced.
No injuries have been reported in connection with the recall.
Consumers are promptly urged to stop using recalled power banks and contact the company Full refund.

According to the CPSC, products should be disposed of in accordance with local and state hazardous waste disposal regulations, but should not be thrown into garbage.
“Lithium-ion batteries need to be disposed of in a different way than other batteries because of the high risk of fire,” CPSC wrote.

“The Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Centre in your city may accept disposing of this recalled lithium-ion battery or device,” he added. “Before you bring your battery or device to the HHW Collection Center, contact the office in advance and ask if you want to recall a lithium-ion battery.
