The aide said it was a “more time-intensive process.”
“By expanding the 287(g) program, we will provide resources to state law enforcement agencies and acquire more efficient and dangerous offenders from our community,” he told Fox News Digital. “We’re now seeing obstacles and disruptions spread across California. This bill ensures that our local, state and federal law enforcement agencies have the resources they need to retain those responsible for the law.”
She added: “This lawlessness is not tolerated.”
As a US senator, Moody said, “We will continue to work with President Trump to not only reverse the Biden administration’s failures, but to ensure that it never happens again — the Ripple Act and the Stop Government Abandonment and Placement Scandal Act are key steps.”

Meanwhile, Moody has introduced a bill that attacks existing laws that allow the Refugee Resettlement Office (ORR) to place undetained children together with adults or organizations seeking organizations.
A bill or “stop gap” act called “Stop the Government Abandonment and Deployment Scandal Act” would require the ORR to work with the state to help find minors’ homes and proper placement. You will also need to track these children for the duration of your stay in the United States while immigration procedures are in progress.
ORR is a division of the Department of Health and Human Services responsible for coordinating the care and placement of refugees, including unaccompanied children arriving in the United States.
According to Moody’s office, when children arrive in the United States without a parent or legal guardian, they are initially handled by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) or US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). They are then transferred to ORR custody, which is responsible for their care and placement.
A moody aide told Fox News Digital that the Biden administration “lost tens of thousands of unaccompanied immigrant children in the infamous pursuit, many of which were put in danger.”
