Dihack may be Riddle’s toughest challenge. He has not yet been pinned or submitted since making his MLW debut last year. He was defeated by a mystery One shot of MLW Through disqualification in December. He quickly made friends with his manager St. Laurent, and found a new alliance in Bishop Dyer when he made his debut in Battle Royot last month.
Riddle told Fox News Digital that he is aware of the challenges he is facing, but that’s part of the burden of being a top man at the company.
“At the end of the day, it’s like motivation. Sometimes, when you’re one-on-one with someone, you drop the guard,” Riddle said. “Unfortunately, it’s not a one-on-one situation, even if it was supposed to.
“I think I’m ready, I’ve won the fighting riots and have 39 competitors out there, including (Rob Van Dam), and I’m still walking away.
Riddle enters the match with some busted ribs that he sustained in a steel chair attack from Dijak. Riddle still vows to defend the title.

“The ribs are being slammed a bit,” Riddle said. “But that should happen in this series of jobs. I think the key part is that DiJack is responsible for injuries to my ribs. He’s probably going to target them in this world title match in Chicago.
“I’m looking for it, but at the same time I’ve been doing some abs. I’m trying to get my abs tight.”
Austin Aries is expected to be looking for an event. He returned to MLW on the microphone on the Battle Liot. He shared his thoughts on the match against Fox News Digital.
“I know it’s as good as anyone to win a championship, but it’s even harder to maintain a championship. Now you’re a guy marked, everyone’s coming for you and everyone’s firing for you,” Alice said. “And on top of that, you’re asked to do the media, you’re asked to be the face of the company. It’s a huge burden to carry, and Riddle has been carrying for a while.
“If anyone takes the championship, if that happens anytime, then Chicago, who will be here on May 10th, could be that day.”
