
New York Yankees Outfielder Cody Bellinger didn’t start with his team’s game against the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday due to food poisoning.
According to Yankees manager Aaron Boone, Bellinger, 29, ate some chicken wings last night and threw them all night. For now, Boone said no one else on the team is sick.
“Hopefully he’s feeling a little better now. We’ll see if we can move him, and we’ll make him available as the game progresses,” Boone said. New York Post.

Centerfielder Trent Grisham took over Bellinger’s spot in Tuesday’s starting lineup. Grisham is off to the start of the season’s contest, hitting .423 with three home runs and nine RBIs in nine games.
The Yankees joined the game on Tuesday with a 6-4 record with the Tigers, and they are on top of AL East.
