Detroit Tigers Outfielder Riley Green made history when he won the Los Angeles Angels 9-1 on Friday.
Green, 24, became his first player MLB His history of hitting two home runs in the nine innings.
Green’s first ninth explosion was with Kenley Janssen’s cutter just below Broadway, and the Tigers star didn’t miss it. A 371-foot blast on the green passed the wall on the right field to give the Tigers a 2-1 nine-inning lead.

Colt Keith followed the Green’s lead when he hit his own home run to give the Tigers a 3-1 lead. The Tigers’ home run party continued Javier Baez Raises the 2-run explosion to 5-1.
The Tigers didn’t stop there. They continued to hit, bringing the Green back to the plate for the second time in the innings with a 6-1 lead.
However, as Jake Edder replaced Janssen, struggling on the mound, Green faced another pitcher in his second at-bat of the innings Angels.

The results were the same, so changing pitching was not an issue for Green. It’s another home run.
Greene smashed Edder’s hanging sweeper with a three-run home run in the 409-foot-right center field sheet to give the Tigers a 9-1 lead, leaving him in the history book, but Green didn’t know that he made history anytime soon.
“Yeah, I just found it – it’s pretty cool,” Green said after the match. “But the game is over. I’ll show up tomorrow and win another baseball game.”

Green became the first Tigers player to hit two homers in the innings since his innings with Maglio Ordnes. Auckland Athletics August 12, 2007. The other Tiger sprayer, two innings from Homer, was Hall of Fame Alcarin, who competed against Kansas City A on April 17, 1955.
In the season, Green has a batting average of 0.262 with 16 RBIs in six home runs and 31 games.
The American League Best Tigers (21-12) will perform again Saturday at 9:38pm (12-19).
