“When he came in, he barely could walk. I don’t know if it was a spider or what,” said Bruce Bossy, the Rangers manager. “Some kind of poison got there. I don’t know if it’s a spider or what. He was 50/50 about whether he’d get off to the start,” Bossie said. Via MLB.com.
Corbyn received treatment before the match and got him off to a start. He pitched 5 hours and 3/3 innings, giving up one run with five hits and hit six batters to win.

The Rangers signed Corbin later in the spring training and dealt with injuries in the starting spin. They signed the left-handed pitcher on March 18th.
Corbin is his 13th MLB season. He spent the first six seasons of his career Arizona Diamondbacks We have created two National League All-Star teams.
After six seasons with the Diamondbacks, Corbin spent the next six seasons Washington Nationals After he signed a six-year contract with the team before 2019.

Corbin was an integral part of the team’s pitching staff during the 2019 playoff run, with the Nationals winning the World Series with the Houston Astros.
