San Diego Padres The first baseman Lewis Arez rose from the field at Daikin Park in Houston on Sunday night after colliding with Astros’ two baseman Mauricio Dubon while running out of bunts.
Arraez broke the line after dragging the bunt towards the bag. Dubon realized that first baseman Christian Walker and pitcher Flamber Valdes didn’t reach the base in time to make the out.
Walker flipped the ball over to the smug. Dubon slams Arez into the bag but does not offer Arez a way to run through the bag. In the blink of an eye, Ares and Dubon clashed, and the Padres star captured the worst.

The scene was scary. The aleise was placed on grass near the base. Medical staff were in a hurry to help the designated batter. After an 11 minute delay, he was placed on a stretcher with his neck and head fixed and taken from the field to Houston Methodist Hospital.
The Padres later issued a statement saying Ares was in stable condition.
“He is currently stable, conscious, responsive and able to move his limbs,” reads the statement.
Alez also gave a thumbs up to the Daikin Park crowd to show that he was conscious and conscious, which led to a positive reception from everyone.

“It was very scary,” Padres manager Mike Schilt told ESPN’s Buster Olney during the “Sunday Night Baseball” broadcast. “We don’t see much of that kind of conflict in sports. Lewis is a really, really tough guy and to see him like that, you know something is pretty serious. He sounds stable now. The neck, make sure it’s stable too.”
Ares’ Padres teammates on the field were visibly shaken along with Fernando Tatis Jr. Manny Machado Pray together.
“This is a very close group, man, this is a group that really, really, really loves each other,” added Schilt. “People say that a lot, but there’s a lot of real love. Lewis is a big part of our team and a big part of the club’s heart. I said I love him.
