MLB Rob Manfred’s changes to rules may not be loved by baseball purists, but the evidence is in the pudding.
As the length of the game has been reduced considerably in recent years, I watched Major League Baseball. Increase in attendance for consecutive years This is the first time since the last two seasons, the early 2010s.

The two biggest names in the game know that they also have jobs that are off the field.
“I think it’s important to grow the sport,” the Milwaukee Brewers star and 2018 NL MVP Christian Elich told Fox News Digital in a recent interview. “I think it’s important to attract as many new audiences as possible. It’s clearly a product that will keep existing audiences and be a good product for everyone to consume. If you can make that impact as a player, I think you should do that.”
That’s why Elich, Dodgers star pitcher Dustin May, and Cubs short stop dancebee Swanson teamed up with DirectV.
Yelich, May and Swanson have appeared in commercials for the campaign that are nothing on the roof. In this case, their head. Each one was wearing a b-haired hat, which is the May look with long hair.
“I like my hair and there are a lot of it. And they didn’t want to do anything on your roof, and I thought it was a really cool twist,” said May, 27, when he began growing up as a middle school high school. “I was excited to be part of the commercial, like I didn’t need anything on your roof to broadcast baseball.”
However, don’t think May’s real hair will soon go away.
“I’m sure I’ll be a bit frustrated if my wife cut them off,” he said.

“It was a cool concept that I really thought was unique and it was an opportunity to have fun with a few other guys around the league,” Yelich added. “DirectV did a great job with the set and concept, and I thought everything was great. People can watch baseball or access major league baseball games without having to have satellites. DirectV puts us in a cap that was bled and nothing in your roof campaign was making us hair so we didn’t think we would like to be too much of a hair. It was fun.”
“To partner with DirectV in this campaign, it shows baseball fans that they can consume a major league baseball game without satellites. Doing a commercial was an easy decision.”

When it comes to continuing to grow the game, “We’re here to give a good image,” May added. “That’s why people want to come back and see it.”
