for Toronto Blue Jays Centerfielder Dorton Val Shaw, what looked like a daily flyball, changed everything but the routine during the four innings of the Boston Red Sox 10-2 victory on Tuesday.
There were no runners at the base. Red Sox Leadoff hitter Jarren Duran stepped into the plate and hit the fly ball in the direction of Varsho.
Varsho turned around and ran towards the warning track and fell as he turned to catch the ball. Face his back and completely off the ball, Varsho quickly returned to one knee and pulled his gloves behind his back in a final groove effort to play.

However, the Red Sox did not leave many other plays for Valsch as they clubd five home runs in the win.
