Los Angeles Angels Starr Mike Trout is one of the American League West team players and complained about the travel schedule that he must follow at the beginning of the season.
The Angels began the year with six consecutive games on the road. The three-game home stand was then nine more games apart California. At the beginning of the year it was from Chicago to St. Louis. After returning to Anaheim, the team travelled to Tampa, Houston and Arlington, finally making their way home.

Trout told Athletic that he didn’t feel his schedule was “ideal.”
“We don’t know when we’re going to land, but it’s going to be quicker. And we have to play that night. And the worst part about it is the next day’s game of the day,” he said.
The Angels’ final match in Tampa during a recent road trip was a night match followed by a night match. After their final night match at Arlington with the Texans Rangers, the team returned to Anaheim and San Francisco Giants.

“I don’t think it’s healthy for anyone,” added Angels Closer Kenley Janssen. “To play such a night game, you enter at 6am. Then you have a 7am game and for the next few days there will be a 1am game. That’s definitely not fair.”
Collective bargaining agreements have certain rules governing travel times. Athletic. The holiday game takes 3 hours and 1 minute to fly.
“The process of selecting game times begins several months before the upcoming season, and amid those discussions, our club will make fan convenience a top priority,” an Angels spokesman told the outlet.
Currently, Angeles is in the middle of his home stand against the Pittsburgh Pirates. However, following the 9:29pm hour game with the Pirates on Thursday, the team headed to Minneapolis for a series with the twins, followed by a two-game road trip with the Seattle Mariners, with a day off in between.
