Miami Hurricane Linebacker Adarius Hayes was involved in a car accident that killed two children on Saturday, according to the Lago Police Department.
The police said Miami Herald The 10-year-old Jabari Elijah Solomon and four-year-old Charlie Herbert Solomon Liberia were both killed after Dodge Durango collided with Kia Soul at the intersection at 1:45pm.
“The police have not identified drivers, but several people not identified by law enforcement said they were hospitalized with “severe injuries.” An investigation is underway,” police told the Herald.

Hayes was a largely special team during his true freshman season. He appeared in 12 games. He is believed to be four tackles and one intercept, and returned it for 25 yards during the team’s blowout 56-9 victory over Florida A&M.
The 6-foot-4 linebacker also saw the time in the Popturts Bowl Iowa Last season.

Hayes was one of the top-ranked linebackers who graduated from high school in 2024 and was a consensus four-star prospect who was the 73rd overall player for 247Sports. He was also the seventh place linebacker in the country.
