In a radio interview, Garcia Halfucci said it was clear that the contract was made during negotiations between Guzman Lopez and the US government.
“It’s clear that his family will go to the US for negotiations and offers. Ministry of Justice I’m giving him,” Garcia Halfucci said.
None of the family was pursued by Mexican authorities.
