The New York Mets won the match against NL East Division rivals on Thursday afternoon Washington Nationals. The 4-3 victory was the Mets’ sixth straight victory, but the game was undermined by what appeared to be serious injuries to one of their key players.
Starting pitcher Kodaisenga scored one in six innings but ended the game after suffering an obvious injury.
Senga appeared to have an issue with his right leg after running to cover one base with a hit ground ball by Washington’s shortstop CJ Abrams.

Mets’ base move Pete Alonso initially made the field the ground, but his throw to Senga forced him to dive into the air into the pitcher, and he landed awkwardly on a base.

Runners were ruled out, but Senga went to his knees in the foul area after play.
Senga felt visible pain, and was done by Mets manager Carlos Mendoza and his team trainer. MLB All-star.

The Mets led the visiting nationals 4-0 as Senga headed for the dugout. He had allowed only one hit when he left the baseball matinet.

Senga won on Thursday, improving its record to 7-3. His 1.47 ERA ranks second in the majors.
