Two metal detectors recently came across a treasure from thousands of years ago in a small European village.

However, recent archaeological discoveries have not been horrifying. In a Facebook post, Breaza Mures Municipality City Hall wrote that two discoverers, named Dionisie-Aurel Moldovan and Sebastian-Adrian Zæhan, encountered a treasure dating back to the Dacians.

The photo shows various silver artifacts that have been hurt with age.
In a statement, Romanian officials said the ancient ornaments contained two fibre bones, or a brooch, and a bracelet.
The metal detector also discovered a belt made of small fibres, a neck chain with three pendant-like pins, and an oval plate connected by a series of rings.

Authorities also identified a rectangular silver plate “adorned with a series of solar motifs,” which also probably belonged to the belt.

In a Facebook post, Silver said “it is worn by prominent members of the Dasia nobles on various special occasions,” but authorities are unsure whether the stash belongs to men and women.

The total weight of the silver was about 1.2 pounds.
“The treasure weighing approximately 550 grams represents an important symbol of the owner’s social status,” the translated statement read.
