Mel Gibson The 56-year-old actor warned Jim Kabiesel this week when he first discussed “Christ’s Passion” if he took away the role of Jesus, if he took away the role of Jesus, if he took away the role of Jesus.

Kabiesel said he remembered when he was 19 and the voice of God spoke to him and told him to become an actor.
“I went, ‘Oh, my God,’ I mean, I’m not blaspheming God, I’m not wasting his name,” he said of the meeting with Gibson. “I literally said, ‘Oh my god, this’s it,’ and I said, ‘You want me to play Jesus, right?’
He said Gibson had almost swallowed the cigarette he was smoking, and he choked “Yeah.”
“And I said, ‘Okay, I’m in,’ for the cinema [incident]I said, “I’m supposed to do this. I don’t need to tell me to do this.”
Gibson called him two days later to warn him.

“He goes, ‘Do you really want to do this?’ he says, ‘If you’re going to do this movie, you might never work in this town again,’ and I say, ‘What?’
“He goes, ‘Do you really want to do this?’ he says, ‘If you’re going to do this movie, you might never work in this town again,’ and I say, ‘What?’
Caviezel said, “What I wanted to make was really what happened, so I was fine with that.”
While making the film, Caviezel said he went to confession every day to “keep my temple as pure as possible, so that he could pass through me.”
He also experienced serious physical distress while working on the film. This includes double pneumonia, hypothermia, shoulder separation, presence, etc. I was hit by lightning On the cross.
“The pain was unbearable,” he said of his time on the cross, adding in the final shot of the film, “I was torn in half from that lightning.”
He also said he had atrial fibrillation while he was on the cross and after the doctor on Set listened to his mind through a stethoscope, he turned to Gibson and said, “He could die.”

After filming, Kabiesel underwent two heart surgeries and said he came from everything he had experienced in the film.
The cross was equipped with a bicycle seat that could be seated during filming, so Kabiesel said he was exhausted enough to sleep while he was there.
“I couldn’t keep awake,” he said of the exhausted filming.
He was sleeping on his makeup and it took him about eight hours to wear it.
“It was constant suffering,” he said.

By the time they reached the scene of the crucifixion, he said he was not sure he could pull it away due to his shoulder separation.

But he said he realized how much God loves me and “I wanted to do it for him.”

“But it was part of the purpose of why I was born, so it was fine,” he added.
He said, “The films we’re making control over the world’s stories and the world didn’t like this movie, so it’s a good thing, so we did a good job.”
Kabiesel is preparing to play Jesus again in “The Resurrection of Christ.” And he is “scared” to take on the role again, but he says he knows he’s not ready without fear.
Gibson invested tens of millions of dollars in 2004’s “Passion of Christ,” and the film was a huge success, winning over $600 million worldwide.
According to Guinness Book of World Records, this is the best-selling religious film at the world’s box office.

The “Resurrection of Christ” is scheduled to be released in 2026.
