California’s Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton has shaking over former vice president Kamala Harris as he ponders his bid to succeed Democrat Gavin Newsom.
“It’s not about us, it’s always her,” Hilton said of the potential run debate, citing a political report that she is interested in the idea that she is the country’s first black female governor.
“Leading the greatest and biggest nation on the planet is a barely able to connect consistent writing, rather than a comforting award given to machine politicians who have failed and rejected from Washington, and she believes she should get this job for her abilities, not her own identity,” he added.

Hilton launched its campaign in Huntington Beach Tuesday morning, promoting ranges from Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, Rep. Kevin Kiley and actor Jon Voight.
According to Sacramento Bees, the recent vote showed he would consider supporting only half of California voters to the governor, which led him to the race.
Politico recently reported that Harris is considering bidding after losing the presidential election to current President Donald Trump in November. If she gets in, she will likely be on the forefront of the Democratic field. Hilton compared her to “the oceanic layer that threatens to come in and block the sun.”

“So bring it, Kamala, if you decide to run for governor, we’ll beat you again,” Hilton told the crowd.
Golden State has a Jungle Primary System, not a nomination system, leading to the possibility that members of the same political party could become finalists in the general election race.
On the Democrats, the long list of candidates includes former health and welfare secretary Xavier Beterra and former rep. Katie Porter And Lieutenant Colonel Eleni Kunarakis. On the Republican side, Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco is in a race to take the helm in Sacramento.

If Republicans are elected governor of Golden State, they could continue to face the Democrats’ supermajority in Congress. Newsom has been out of office and will not be able to serve his third term. Newsam Democrats dodged the recall election in 2021 after winning a big margin against Republican Brian Dahl.
