
Keegan Bradley traveled to Augusta National Golf Club as captain of the American Ryder Cup.
On Wednesday, the 38-year-old took part in one of the historic course’s annual traditions – Master Par 3 contest. The contest dates back to 1960, offering golf professionals the opportunity to take part in a casual session just before the actual competition is tee-off.

Bradley had two young sons this year. The trio enjoyed a special father-son moment when he made a hole-in-one. A few near misses didn’t get Bradley back on track as he made the first ace of the contest at Hall 6 on Wednesday.
Bradley’s mustache has also returned in time for the first major tournament of the season.

Bradley jokingly suggested that facial hairstyles could bring him good fortune.
“I shaved it, played it for two weeks and it didn’t work at all, so I had to get it back,” he joked during the contest air.
Bradley’s best finish at Augusta National came last year when he came in 22nd place in 2015.
The par-3 contest has produced 112 hole-in-ones over the past 65 years. Last year, five participants created an ace. Sam Snead won his first par-3 contest in 1960.

Bradley fans’ support has appeared to be steadily rising recently. He is the current captain of the Ryder Cup, but was snubted in 2023.
