When it’s between the lines, or when it’s inside the rope along with golf, it’s business for everything Rory McIlroy.
The note clearly Master’s final round.
The two were recombined in majors, just like last year’s US Open. McIlroy joked over the winter to “go back” at Dechambeau for “what he did to me.”
Deccanbeau cracked, “To be fair, you did it to yourself.”

It was a joke of friendly competition between the Ryder Cup and PGA-LIV rivals, but nothing was friendly on Sunday.
Deccanbo said McIlroy. “He didn’t talk to me once.” In the final round.
It was all part of the plan.
“It had nothing to do with Bryson,” McIlroy sports psychologist Bob Roterra told the BBC. Via ESPN. “It’s been a game plan all week and we wanted to get lost in it. We didn’t want to pay attention to the distance that someone else was scoring, shooting, swinging, or hitting it. We just wanted him to play his game.

“The point is to assume that if you believe you’ll win, if you play your game and do it wherever you are in the way you can, you’ll be No. 1.”
Despite many hiccups, it worked. McIlroy finally acquired his first master and completed his career grand slam in his 11th attempt.
Deccanbo enjoyed the excitement of the day, but said that his partner seemed to be zoned.
“He was just like, ‘Yeah.’ But I don’t think that’s me,” Deccanbeau said.
