A representative for Chesnutt told Fox News Digital: “Mark was admitted to Baton Rouge General Hospital on Thursday morning after his flight arrived for a concert in Alabama.” “He remains in the hospital for testing for low sodium levels and very high blood pressure. he is stable. ”
In addition to missing the Baton Rouge show, a concert scheduled for October 18th in New Mexico was also cancelled.

Later that month, Chesnutt returned to social media with an uplifting message for his followers.

Chesnutt was also hospitalized for medical evaluation in November 2023, according to posts on his social media accounts. However, the details of the evaluation are unknown.
