Chedur Sanders‘NFL Draft positions are a hot topic of debate, and New York Giants receiver Malik Narvers explained why he’s upset at how much the Colorado Buffaloes quarterback slipped the draft board.
Not only did Sanders pass day one, but he also rubbed Neighbors the wrong way on the second day of the draft. The second year recipient spoke to the reason for the “7pm Brooklyn” podcast.

“I take the bag he needs. He had a bad O-line. You know, he threw 70% [completion rate] On a bad O-line. Talk about him running away from his pocket. You can pull up a lot of his clips that he escapes three or four tackles and throws onto the field.
“Most of his receivers had seven or eight touchdowns. He played with Travis Hunter. He beat Biletnikov. There are a few things that can’t be knocked.”

During Sanders’ slide, reports surfaced that the quarterback’s outlook, once believed to be a solid first-round choice, had been bad interviews with multiple teams and encouraged him to take over.
His personality from the field and his various passions and ventures may have thwarted the team.
“We have to stop feeling about how people last,” Neighbors insisted. “Yeah, he may have some things he might say on the camera and from the field. Anything that deals with it has nothing to do with the way he plays football.

“Everyone has a different personality. You never meet someone who has the same personality everywhere. We’ve all become different, so to judge him about what he says and how he carries himself.
Hall of Fame elder Sanders, a two-sports star who has coached Chedur since his freshman year in Jackson, has also pointed people to his fingers after seeing his son beat the draft board.
“They were doing it to show that it was bigger than what he wanted to support,” Nabels added. “I understand that, but you don’t. For such a child, it’s working for the rest of your life and Deion’s kids are never told they’ll never be as good as he is.”

The Browns eventually pulled Sanders’ trigger and added their fourth quarterback to the depth chart this offseason. Oregon’s Dillon Gabrielmany were ranked lower than Sanders, but was filmed in the third round of the Browns’ draft.
