
A fatal boat incident occurred in Alabama Major League Fishing Wednesday morning tournament.
The incident involved multiple boats at Lewis Smith Lake on the second day of the Tackle Warehouse Invitational. This said in a statement it confirmed that Major League Fishing (MLF) was a “serious boat accident.”
Reported by WBMA Three people have now been confirmed to be dead, and three more are injured after the multiboat accident. Alabama law enforcement has identified one of the 58-year-old Joey M. Bloom of Altoona.

The MLF said the incident also involves a competitive angler from Flint Davis. Leesburg, Georgia.
“To respect those involved and ensure the accuracy of all information, no further details will be made public at this time,” MLF said in its statement. “MLF works closely with law enforcement agencies and emergency officers, and additional updates will be provided as they have been confirmed by the appropriate authorities.

Davis also issued a statement on his Instagram.
“I want to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers,” he wrote. “Please keep me and all the other influences and families in your prayers. Please let everyone know as much as I can.”
The fishing tournament that was supposed to be held until Thursday has been cancelled.
The Kalman County EMA confirmed that crashing on the lake occurred around 7am near the bottom of the mirror, CBS 42 reported. There was no word on the number of injuries to others involved, or even worse.
