“I hope this Pope will be very, very good, but I know this: He is our Pope. We must protect him. We must encourage him. We must pray for him.
Holtz continued to insist that “do not give enough people to today’s church.” Perhaps that’s because some people don’t believe in the decisions of the past Pope.
“The Church has the same economic obligations as any other. So, whether you like the Pope or not, he is our Pope. You must respect him, pray for him, and care about him at the same time.

“It is important to us to support the Pope, whether we like him or not, regardless of who he is. Pray for him. I pray for the decision they will make. I have been blessed to know the two Popes and visit them together.
