The 22-year-old discovers that her lost iPhone is buried in a tiled rub near the ruins of her house in the Bat Cave.
She lived there with her boyfriend Andrew when the storm caused a landslide in September 2024.

“We escaped the tile rub just seconds before the second landslide hit,” Landolfi said.
She added, “We were exposed and struck by dirt and debris.”

Randolphy and her boyfriend were evacuated to the house for nearly 27 hours before the firefighters arrived.

Landolfi said she returned to the site several times but was unable to retrieve her belongings.
In April 2025, Bat Cave Disaster Relief helped her access the area for another search.
That’s when she made a wild discovery.

“Digging the tiled rub, I found an iPhone It’s dusty, but seemingly unharmed,” she said.
“I lost almost every photo of the ferret, The house we loved And almost every picture of the ferret that couldn’t get away,” she said.

“The discovery of the phone felt like a miracle… I couldn’t believe it.”
The phone looked as it was, and SWNS survived landslides and harsh outdoor conditions despite being buried for seven months.

“It took me a while to realize how crazy it is to have two landslides and a phone that survived seven months,” she said.

They said many of the couple’s most precious memories are stored only on the device.
“For those who are wondering, no, we weren’t updating our iCloud storage,” she said, as SWNS reported.
