The “Leave It To Beaver” set was as creaking and clean as a 1950s sitcom.

His TV father wasn’t the only one who shared a close bond with Mathers. He told the outlet that his relationship with on-screen mom Barbara Billingsley grew after the series ended.
“She did a lot of charity,” he recalls. “Occasionally, she calls me and says she might not feel that good that day. Can I help her?
Billingsley passed away in 2010 At 94, Mathers said he and his TV parents and the rest of the crew of “Beaver to Beaver” confirmed that the set was “a good time” and “a lot of fun” for all the kids actors.

“Hugh Beaumont and Barbara Billingsley were great for Tony [Dow] And I said, “He regretted it.
“I’ll go there, I’ll see all my friends, all light people [on the set] And all the different people, and they are all my friends,” he said.
“It was always fun,” Matters said. “There was nothing really bad about that.”

According to the outlet, Mathers was eight years old when they joined the series. “Leave it to the Beaver” It ran from 1957 to 1963 and continues to run in syndication. Mathers still likes to adjust and reflect on his childhood.
“We filmed 234 episodes from 1957 to 1963, so there’s a lot to watch,” he said. “When I watch the show, it brings back many happy memories for me.”
Mathers previously told Fox News Digital that he had approached with television brother Tony Dow. He later achieved success as a sculptor. He passed away in 2022 at the age of 77.

It was not the only loss that Mathers faced in recent years. Ken Osmond, who played Eddie Eddie Haskell, the second-ranked police officer, passed away in 2020 at the age of 76.
“Tony and I have always been very good friends,” Matters said. “He was a great guy to work with… he was just a great guy and he taught me a lot. It was interesting because I was the oldest in the family and Tony was his baby. [But] That was the exact opposite of what was on the show. ”
“He was not only my brother on TV, but in many ways, in life,” said Mothers at the time of Dow’s death. “Tony leaves an empty place in my heart. It was my honor and privilege to be able to share my memory with him for 65 years.”

Earlier this month, Mathers reunited with his surviving co-stars. At the Hollywood Show. He also likes to connect with his fans on social media.
“It was great to be with a friend from ‘Beaver to Beaver’. “Stephen Talbot (Gilbert Bates), Jeri Weil (Judy Hensler), Luke Tiger Farfara (Twoey Brown) and Veronica Cartwright (Violet Rutherford) are reunited.”
“We took photos and signed the autographs with fans who were so kind and happy to be with us,” he said.
