Toby Keith’s dream came true more than a year after the country icon He passed away at the age of 62.
In the 2025 Kentucky Derby, Keith’s Dream Walkin Farms will debut their first thoroughbred horse in the Derby. The country singer began racing work in 2001.
Keith’s official Instagram account was announced on April 27th.
Toby Keith’s faith was his “rock” following his diagnosis of stomach cancer: “I just pray.”

“It was Toby’s dream. Render’s decision will go to the Kentucky Derby,” the post read.

According to a press release obtained by Fox News Digital, the render decision came in 21st place on April 26th.
“It was Toby’s dream. Render’s decision will go to the Kentucky Derby.”
However, Horstadpas Street had to run away for the roses, causing Render’s judgment to rise.
On Friday, Keith’s horse trainer Kenny McPeak was a guest on “Fox & Friends First” and talked about Keith’s love for horse racing.

“Well, some say Toby loved thoroughbred horse racing more than music, but that’s really a lot, right?” he said.
McPeak first met Keith at a race in Louisiana over 20 years ago. “He’s always been a lot of fun and he’s been so overlooked in the horse racing industry,” he said.

“Yeah, that’s what everyone is hanging on their walls and saying, ‘We won the Kentucky Derby.’ But God, it’s hard to get there… [the] The horse racing business is (irritating) and I dream more. Keith has been running Dream Walkin Farm for more than 30 years, and his family has taken over the 330-acre facility in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, according to a press release.
On February 5, 2024, Keith’s family announced his death in a statement posted on his website and social media accounts.
“Toby Keith He has passed away Last night, on February 5th, I was surrounded by his family in peace. He fought with grace and courage. Please respect the privacy of his family at this time,” the statement read.

Keith revealed in June 2022 that he was I was diagnosed with stomach cancer.

But Keith didn’t just use the idea of American patriotism in his songs. He gave his support American military, Take 11 USO tours to visit and play for the army serving overseas. He also wrote about his support for men and women in the US military in his 2003 hit “American Soldiers.”

Keith helped procure millions of charity over his career, including building a home in Oklahoma City to help children and their families fight cancer.
The singer also performed at Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama’s events Donald Trump, The latter gave him the National Medal of Arts in 2021.
Keith is survived by his wife, Tricia, three children and four grandchildren.
