“The first thing they asked, I said ‘No’, then I said ‘No’ again. Then I got the subpoena and I was like, “f —, s —.” “Then I’m thinking, ‘What am I wearing, guy? I have to be either, that or something?” I said, “Man, this is what I wear this f. So I wear some hard soles.
“But I hated every minute of it,” Coody said. “Like I didn’t want to do that.”

The singer of “The Pursuit of Happiness” revealed that he was in peace in his testimony, as he wanted to support Ventura.
“When I was there, I thought. I’m here to support Kathy. Kathy is my friend, you know, and I love her, and I want to see her go well,” he said. “And when I saw her getting married, I was so happy with her, you know, she found her, her person. When I saw her having a child, I thought, ‘Oh, this is so great’ You know what I mean?
“It was something that gave me peace when I sat in that chair. It was just like looking at her, ‘Oh, I like, I have to hold on to the home girl’,” he added.

During the trial, Cudi revealed He meets Diddy after being told that the rapper broke into his house and burned his car.
“After the car set fire to him, he reached out to Sean Combs and said he needed to meet up to finally talk,” Coody testified. “He wanted to talk to me, so after the fire I was like, ‘This is out of hand, I need to talk to him.’ ”
“Why was it Mr. Combs who reached out after the fire?” Kudi was asked in court.
