
Kevin Bacon After the release of “Footloose” in 1984, he wanted to escape the spotlight, but his wife, Kyra Sedgwick, had other plans.
In a recent episode of the YouTube show, “Mythical Kitchen’s Last Meals,” Bacon admitted that his dream is a “solid” farmer and lives on a rural farm with only his dogs.

At that moment in his life, Bacon longed for a certain degree of security.
“I told myself, ‘I just have a dog and live alone. I don’t need anything. I don’t need anyone,” he also known as host Josh Sheller, mythical chef Josh.
“I told myself, ‘I’m going to be a guy who just has a dog and lives alone. I don’t need anything. I don’t need anyone.”
The Gatlin Brothers’ 2007 song “Chopwood and Carry Water” came to mind when Bacon was explaining his desire for solitude at the time.

Bacon lived in West Connecticut when he just met his wife. Sedgwick wasn’t excited by Bacon’s desire to be isolated from the rest of the world.
Initially, according to Bacon, the pair lived in “a funky, small, ruined farmhouse.”

“For a while, actually quite a few years, she folded into it and we got it together,” he said of Sedgwick. “And we live in this little place, I chopped up trees and when we weren’t working, she brought the dogs to the mix. [our dogs] Jane and Taibalt. ”
Bacon fantasy was only achieved for Sedgwick for a few years.
“She said, ‘This is scary. I want to go out for lunch. I want to go to movies and theatres. I want to shop in the village,” Bacon recalls.
Native Sedgwick New Yorker, Bacon said it encouraged the couple to “the greatest battle ever in our lives.”
Bacon and Sedgwick share Travis, 35, and Sosie, 33.

At the time, Keira had moved her son Travis to a school in Manhattan and had given up on renting an apartment for her family to live in.

Bacon said at the time, “after footloose,” and before Tremers, “their finances were not in the best place for such a transition.”
“It was the biggest thing we’ve ever done. She was so right. Raising a child in Manhattan was the best idea,” Bacon said in hindsight.

The actor said, “We eventually found a way to buy an apartment. I got a job. All of these things that I was afraid of wouldn’t happen happened happened. And she was right.
Bacon and Sedgwick They got married in 1988 after meeting on the set of “Lemon Sky.” The actor would invite the entire cast to dinner during filming in hopes of Sedgwick attending, the actress recalled in a 2012 episode of “Conan.”
Sedgwick didn’t attend dinner, so Bacon moved on to suggesting that the “Woodsman” star would get a massage at his hotel.
The couple decided to raise their children in Manhattan, but they chose to protect them from the success of Hollywood, where their children fought “tooth and claws.”

“When we were to promote our fame, premiere our kids, watch movies, show articles of papers…we really didn’t,” Bacon said. “We really avoided that. We thought it was good that they had some… We knew how strange this life was.”

He continued, “When you realize you’re always there… you always get out of the house and when you realise that there’s a possibility that someone knows who you are, they’re looking at you, or that you have some point of you from the work you did, you started going, that’s great, this is what I’ve always wanted.
Bacon chose to protect his children from the harsh reality “Because they didn’t choose it.”

“That’s what it is. When it comes to fame, I have no responsibility for anyone but myself. It was me,” Bacon explained in “The Last Meal.” “I’m the one who fought teeth and claws for that, but for them, it’s something they’re stabbing.”
“I just let you understand yourself. That’s how we raised them. I keep telling them, “It would have been tough for you. Tell me. I want to know. Sit down with your therapist and it’s okay,” he added, “You can get mad at me in this life…and they won’t just go there. They won’t admit that it’s difficult about having one of them.”
As his child becomes an adult, they are free to make their own choices. One of them was to star in the horror film “Family Films” along with his parents, who are famous.

“We love to spend time with our kids. But it’s not always crazy, but sometimes we want to hang out with us, so it’s there because you raise them and don’t translate into a continuous, lasting close relationship over and over.”

Bacon told the outlet that he and his “very close” family never have a bond with “naturally” as “they are obvious.”
“We’re all working on separate things. Travis works, Kira works separately, I work separately, Soci is always working. Just an idea [of being] You can work with money. ”
