
Kevin Bacon I made a rare comment about losing money in Bernie Madoff’s Ponzi scheme in the 2000s.
Talking Esquire andThe actor said, “There’s not much to say. If it really seems good, the more it’s not true, the better.”
He added that he and his wife, actress Kyra Sedgwick, are “not tired of it” from the experience.
“I’m more careful, but I’m not tired of it.” “Footloose” star I said.

Bacon said he uses frustration in his gym routine.
“The machine is right next to the window, and when I look out the window, I see the building where Madoff was,” he told the outlet. “I feel an unbearable pain, I put on a leg press and stare at the window. I have to think, ‘I can get through this,’ so it’s perfect in an interesting way. And that’s how we felt about Madoff. ”

“It sucked, and we were certainly angry. And then we woke up the next day and said, “What did we get? We love each other. We love our kids. We are healthy. No one took away our ability to make a living.” So we went back to work. ”
Sedgwick and bacon After Madoff was arrested in 2008, he revealed in their book, “What Makes A Marriage Last” about losing their savings.

“We were both shocked at first,” Sedgwick wrote. “But you do a really quick body scan to get some perspective. Otherwise you just got surprised: our kids were safe, we were still at work and we managed to get the money back… So, yeah, it felt so scary for a long time, but we knew we would get through it.”
