Kelly ClarksonEx-husband Brandon Blackstock was in a committed relationship with her former production assistant at the time of his death.
Clarkson, who had been married to Blackstock for seven years before his divorce was finalised in 2022, was not named in an obituary published Tuesday, but his “beautiful and beloved partner” Britney Marie Jones has been recognized for helping to create the Montana Ranch. Blackstock died on August 7th after a three-year battle with “brave and brave” cancer. He was 48 years old.

According to her LinkedIn Profile, Jones worked as a production assistant for Clarkson in Nashville from 2016 to 2018.
In December 2018, Jones began working in Los Angeles for Clarkson’s talk show. She also began working as an executive management assistant for Blackstock.
In June 2020, Jones became executive assistant at V Bar B Cattle Co., a Montana Ranch owned by Blackstock.
Clarkson I filed for divorce From Blackstock of the same year.
Clarkson representatives did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

According to the obituary, Blackstock remembered it for his pursuit of “a cowboy’s way of life that he always wanted to live.”

Backstock’s cause of death was due to melanoma, a type of skin cancer, Fox News Digital confirmed. His method of death was listed as a natural cause.
“It’s extremely sad to share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away,” a family representative told Fox News Digital in a statement.
“Brandon bravely fought cancer for over three years. He passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the privacy of your family during this extremely difficult time.”
Clarkson and Blackstock got married in 2013, but previously knew that Blackstock’s father, Narbell Blackstock, had owned Clarkson’s leading music management company since 2007. Blackstock was Clarkson’s manager from 2017 to the 2020 split.
