Kathy Lee Gifford scrutinized the book of celebrity Exodus from Hollywood.
In 2019, the 71-year-old former television host moved from Greenwich, Connecticut to Frankin, Tennessee, and set out in New York City from the film Today.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, Gifford shared her thoughts on increasing numbers of stars embracing simpler lives in more and more rural parts of the country.
“They have the other and aren’t fulfilling,” QVC’s Q50 ambassador said on the red carpet for QVC’s Tiktok Super Brand Day in Santa Monica, California.

“You’ve got a lot of money, and you realize that by getting a lot of money you can move around a place where they can have a different kind of lifestyle,” Gifford continued. “They can afford it.”
“I have a small farm and my home in Tennessee there, and I live next to a big, big star, like 15,000 acres,” she added. “I have a small acre of 10 acres. I’m very happy there.”
After moving to Franklin, the former Nashville suburb “Live with Regis and Kathy Lee” host Her Tennessee farm was renovated to become a French-style farm and expanded the facility. Gifford previously told CityLife Magazine that she named the farm “Orbal” after the small town outside Paris where she was pregnant.

While talking to Fox News Digital, Gifford shared that her farm is a tribute to her late parents Aaron and Joan Epstein. Author of “The God of Way” She explains that she hopes her grandchildren will learn about her parents through the farm, and she plans to tell the story of Aaron and Joan in a future book.
“I am the only one who has a French farm in Tennessee, because I did it all as a homage to my mother and father. “And I want my children, grandchildren and their grandchildren to know about them.”
“That would be the last book I’ve written,” she continued. “It’s about my mom and dad and what they did. And each of them would have been a Dickens novel in itself – the saddest, saddest experience of life. And they would have never even reached 21. But they found each other and they found Jesus.

Before relocating to Franklin, Gifford lived in Greenwich for over a decade. There, she raised two children, Cody, 35, and Cassidy, 31, and stayed with her husband, NFL Legend Frank Gifford, who had been with her husband for nearly 30 years, and died in August 2015 at the age of 84.
Interviews in 2019 Tennessee, Gifford recalls why he decided to leave Greenwich for Tennessee.
“I moved here because I was dying Loneliness,” she admitted.
Gifford recalled how her situation changed after the children left home and lost their husband. She told the outlet that her home no longer felt like a safe haven for her, and all she was left was an empty house.
“That huge, beautiful, memorable home was like a morgue to me,” Gifford said. “Here’s the bad news. I’m a widow, an orphan, a sky Nester. The good news is that there’s freedom for a widow, an orphan, a sky Nester.”

While Gifford lives full-time in Franklin, she told Fox News Digital that she still owns her home in Greenwich. “Baxter” actress Her son Cody and his wife, Erica, whom he married in 2020, explained that she currently lives in the house. Gifford expressed his praise for Cody, who led the remodeling of his family’s home.
“My son is clever,” Gifford said. “He moved with his wife. In fact, they weren’t married, but they moved into my house. They left Santa Monica and lived in our home where he grew up. And they are still there.
“And my son did an incredible job,” she continued. “I mean, it looks brand new. It costs me a lot of money, but it was worth it. And I’m happy they’re there, I know how much joy it would bring to throw soccer around the same garden that his little boy and my son threw a furk.

“It’s deja vu and it’s just fun,” Gifford added. “And my son is an incredible husband and father, his wife looks like Elizabeth Taylor, she is an incredibly incredible mother. And my daughter lives near me in Tennessee, and she is flying around with her second baby and married a great man.”
“I know I had a great sadness in my life when I lost someone I love so much in my life. But I know I’ll see him again. I know exactly where they are.”
Gifford spoke with Fox News Digital while attending QVC’s Tiktok Super Brand Day at Santa Monica Post Office in Santa Monica, California. The event celebrated the second year of QVC’s “Age of Possibilities” platform. This is for women over 50 years old.

The TV personality is the ambassador of QVC’s Quintessential 50, according to the Shopping Network website.
In addition to Gifford, QVC’s Tiktok Super Brand Day was attended by other Q50 ambassadors, including Gifford’s former “Today” co-host. Hoda Kotb, philanthropist Kathy Hilton and alum Jenny Garth of “Beverly Hills, 90210.” While attending the event, Gifford and Kotb, who co-hosted “Today” for 11 years, met again on the red carpet.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, Gifford recalled how he came to work for QVC.

“They called me years ago. Comes with register And I asked them to do a product line for them,” she said. And they said, “Now you might have to stay there and go back every 20 minutes or hours and do it in the middle of the night.
“We’ve sold out,” recalled Gifford. “We sold $5 million worth of sales in five minutes. We went to ‘Yeah.’ ”
“Now, it didn’t happen every time I went to QVC, but it was a great big step first,” she added with a smile.

Since then, Gifford said he has worked on QVC on and off for many years.
“They’re a great organization,” she said. “Technically, they’re great, great, nice, lovely people. And you know me, I don’t hang out with mean people. I don’t do that.”
