The NBA’s all-time goal scorer has long been critical of President Donald Trump, and James urged his followers to “vote for Kamala Harris” in a video that won criticism for the out-of-contest clip in the week before the election.

James and his longtime business partner Maverick Carter founded Spring Hill Entertainment in 2020.
“What are we talking about here? When I’m thinking about my kids and my family, and how they grow up, the choices are clear to me. Vote for Kamala Harris!!!” James posted on X.
In the post, James shared a video featuring negative headlines about Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden and a clip of Tony Hinchcliffe, who says he and the black people in the crowd carved watermelon. The video also features other headlines that said Trump spitting “Nazi rhetoric” and that he was attacked by clips of African Americans.
The commenter said the clips left the context and tore James apart, but he doubled after a few days.
“I believe in having a daughter, having a wife, my mother and her nature, (Harris) believes in women’s rights, the future with my children and the future of my country, and I think that’s right to support it.
Carter and James are linked from high school. The two played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio Boston Red Sox British soccer club Liverpool.

Former President Joe Biden Harris has been decided As his running mate in 2020, James expressed his support.
“Congratulations, Senator Kamala Harris!! I love seeing it and supporting you! Thank you to JB,” he wrote at the time.
The four-time MVP approved Hillary Clinton for the President during the 2016 election and campaigned for her in Ohio while he was still with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
James previously called Trump “Bum” when he revoked Trump’s invitation to the White House to Stephen Curry.
“Going to the White House was a huge honor until you showed up!” He said at the time.
Trump also said that making James “seems smart” was “not easy.”

When Trump said he was losing interest in the NBA after the players were on his knees during the national anthem, James said, “I don’t think it’s sad that the basketball community will lose audiences.”
