
Justin Rose came out almost everywhere to finish off Rory McIlroy’s runner-up. Master on sunday.
Rose shot 66 in the final round and forced the playoffs For McIlroy. He lost to McIlroy after missing a 15-foot putt. He came out of the gate at 65 in the first round, but at the age of 75 in the third round, he was forced to climb the uphill in the final round.

It was the third time Rose finished in second place. He was runner-up in last year’s Open Championship, so he finished second overall.

He joined Ben Hogan as the only player to lose twice in the playoffs at Augusta National. Hogan won the Masters twice.
“It was kind of a putt you dream of as a child, and it was a special feeling to have it and drill a hole in it,” Rose said. “And unfortunately, the playoffs, they always end up very quickly, if you’re not the one who hits great shots or holes, that’s over.
