Voight and Paul met with dozens of major film and television organizations (guilds, unions, studios and streamers) on what changes should be made to increase film production in the country, according to the statement.

“We’ve spent months meeting with top leaders in the film and television industry, and there’s a wide range of agreements that runaway production has become a serious issue that needs to be addressed,” Karol said.
“The plan is to level the arena and producing here in the US is not only a competitive option, but it’s the first option.”
The White House and its associated policy advisors are reviewing the proposal.
