Through the creation of Autonomous MachineDeer wants to address customer challenges such as quality of work, access to skilled workers and the “ability to get the job done at the right time,” Jepsen said.
In January, the company announced the creation of a new autonomous tractor, autonomous dump truck and an automatic movement lawn mower. According to a press release from John Deere, machines use computer vision, cameras and AI to navigate the environment.
