Former President Joe Biden’s office confirmed Sunday that he was diagnosed with “aggressive form” of the company. Prostate cancer.
“Last week, President Joe Biden was seen in new discoveries of prostate nodules after experiencing an increase in urinary symptoms,” Biden’s team shared in a statement. “On Friday he was diagnosed with prostate cancer and was characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (grade group 5) with metastasis to the bone.”
“This represents a more aggressive form of the disease, but cancer appears to be hormone sensitivity that allows for effective management. The president and his family are reviewing treatment options with his doctor,” the statement said.

“As expected, the biopsy confirmed that the small lesion was basal cell carcinoma. All cancer tissue was successfully removed. The area around the biopsy site was presumably treated with electrotherapy and curettes at the time of biopsy. No further treatment is required.”
