New York Jets Head coach Aaron Glenn finally responded to Aaron Rodgers’ scathing criticism of the final meeting. According to new general manager Darren Moogie, his response was “perfect.”
The first night of 2025 NFL Draft, Glenn and Moogie were trying to guide them through a new era with the appointment of new leadership. Instead, they were forced to revisit the past.

It was the first time Rogers spoke to the media since saying he felt disrespected following his final meeting with the pair in February. Glenn was asked if there was any response to the four league MVP claims.

The comment, which referred to the Jets’ first round pick, encouraged Moosie to laugh before he added, wrapped in a wrap that “it was perfect.”

Rogers said Glenn returned with Moogie, but the conversation quickly changed.
“We’re sitting in the office. We’re going to have this long conversation – I’m flying around the country – and he’s going in 20 seconds – I’m literally talking to the GM about something, and he leaned towards the end of his seat and said, “Do you want to play football?”
Rodgers replied that he did, but soon came across Glenn’s already-made decision: “We’re going in a different direction at quarterback.”
Mougey avoided the question Monday, saying he was only interested in talking about drafts and “current jet players.”

In the first step to moving on, the Jets selected Missouri’s offensive tackle armand member on their seventh overall pick. He didn’t allow the bag at 12th start last season, so it should help provide protection for new quarterback Justin Field.
