Jeremy Renner He protects himself from the “offer of insults” he claims he received from Disney.
The actor who played the superhero Hawkeye in several Marvel projects is “High Performance” podcast The company approached him and entered the second season of the Disney+ series “Hawkeye,” but they provided him with half the amount he made during his first season.
“They asked me to do season 2 and they provided me with half the money,” Lenner insisted. “And I’m wow. It takes me twice as much work with half the amount of money. And basically for eight months of my time, and I have to do it with half the amount.”

He continued, “I’m ‘Why?’ because I think I’m only half Jeremy’s. Because I ran.” He mentioned the incident on January 1, 2023.
Renner said, “And this is not a surprise, I don’t mind, this is. Just Disney – It’s not even Disney in reality. It’s just a pincher, an accountant. I told them to fly the kite, I just meant with the offer of insult. So we didn’t look at it. ”
The “Avengers” star claimed that he still loves the character and that he enjoys improving his role, but he insisted that he “have to protect himself.”

“I didn’t ask for more money,” Renner said. “It’s just ‘Pay me what I made in my first season.’ So, it’s a bit disappointing, but it’s nice to be able to let go of it as my body is grateful to me again and again. ”
Disney did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment, but the company disputed Renner’s claim Hollywood Reporter.
“Hawkeye” premiered on Disney+ in November 2021. The miniseries ran six episodes and was generally well received. Renner also played several characters. The Avengers movieand in “Captain America: The Civil War.”
“Avengers: Doomsday” is scheduled to be released in May 2026, the next chapter of the popular Marvel Film Series. Renner has not been officially confirmed to be part of the cast at this time.
