Jennifer Lawrence’s After becoming a mom, the whole world changed.
34-year-old actress – currently promoting her Upcoming film “If I Die” The Cannes Film Festival in France opened up about her journey after “quarantine” and the emotional sacrifices that took her to film the film while pregnant with her second child.
“As a mother, it was really hard to separate what I do as opposed to what she does, and it was just heartbreaking,” Lawrence, whose character experienced mental illness after the birth of her child, said at a press conference. Variety. “I just had my firstborn, but there’s actually nothing like postpartum. It’s very isolated, and this is very interesting. [director] Lin [Ramsay] Moved this couple to Montana and she has no community. She has no people. But the truth is, wherever you are, extreme anxiety and extreme depression are isolated. You feel like an alien. ”
While filming the film, which also stars Robert Pattinson, revealed that she was five months pregnant with her second child, Lawrence said that becoming a mother had changed her in ways she never imagined.

“Having kids changes everything.”. It will change your life. It’s cruel and incredible,” she said. It’s like feeling blisters or something – it’s very sensitive. So they obviously changed my life for the best and they changed me creatively. If you want to be an actor, I highly recommend having children. ”

Discussing the toughest days on the set, Lawrence said it includes one of many sex scenes.
“The day before our first day, Lynn shows Rob and I’ve had a scene from “If” and these characters are attacking each other like the Tigers. And we’re like, ‘Oh, OK,'” Lawrence said. “That was the first day of the set.”

Pattinson, who became a parent last year, admitted that “it’s extremely difficult to try and understand your role in a relationship.”
“He’s just like a man. He doesn’t seem to be a man looking at Tiktok’s reels like raising children,” he said of his personality. “He wants the relationship to go back to what it is and does not understand why this is happening to them and why this intruder has entered this relationship.
