“He said, ‘Yeah, I wasn’t shooting her today. Her eyes are baggy.’ I was 25 so it was very embarrassing for him to say it,” Curtis, who was filming the 1985 film Perfect, said on Sunday’s episode. 60 minutes. “So, as soon as the film was over, I had some plastic surgery.”
“It’s not something you want to do when you’re 25 or 26,” she continued. “And I regret it right away and have regretted it ever since.”

“I added to the woman, ‘You’re gorgeous, you’re perfect like you.’ So yeah, that wasn’t a good thing for me,” she added.

The Golden Globe Award-winning actress, who has been open about her past drug addiction over the years, said she is “famous” with the effects of drugs.
“I was very engrossed in the warm baths of drugs,” Curtis said. “You know, I drank a bit… I don’t overdo it, don’t do a massive public demonstration. I was very quiet and very private about it, but it certainly became a dependency.”

In 2019, Curtis described her previous self as “controlled drug addicts and alcoholics.” Variety’s “recovery issues.”
“I’ve never done that when I worked,” she told the outlet at the time. “I never took any drugs by 5pm, I never took painkillers at 10am, it was like the late afternoon and evening. I’ve been following that feeling for a long time. ”
Curtis attended her first recovery meeting in February 1999 after reading Tom Chiarella’s essay “Bicodin, My Bikodin” in Esquire magazine.
“I was terrified [of being recognized]. Cartis was afraid that someone from the recovery community was trying to betray my trust.

In 2021, she was opened up about plastic surgery procedures that guided the dangerous path to addiction.
“I tried plastic surgery, but it didn’t work. It made me crazy about Vicodin. I’ve now settled for 22 years,” Curtis shared First Company at that time.
“What we do to adjust the current trends in fillers and procedures, their obsession with filtering, and their appearance on Zoom is wiping away the beauty of our generation.
That same year, Curtis celebrated her drinking journey on social media.

The actress took her to Instagram she posted Her own throwback photo Holding alcoholic beverages.
“Long ago… in a galaxy far away, far away… I was a young star with her in war,” wrote the 62-year-old. “I didn’t know that. I followed everything. I hid it. [as] My secret is illness. ”
“With God’s grace and the support of many people who can relate to all ‘feels’ and some plain angels… I was able to stay calm one day at a time for 22 years,” Curtis continued. “I was at a high bottom and was like what I intended, so my unusual photo of myself drinking proudly at a photo shoot is very helpful to remember me. To all the people struggling and those on the road… my hands.”
